The Middle-Belt Forum is a sociocultural organization representing the collective interests of the indigenous ethnic nationalities of the Middle-Belt region straddling: Abuja FCT, Adamawa, Southern Bauchi, Southern Borno, Southern Kebbi, Gombe, Benue, Southern Kaduna, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, Taraba, Southern Yobe.

They are warriors whose bravery remains the uniting pivot of the Nigerian State committed to the liberation of Ethnic Nationalities of the region who are autochthonous and independent of the Sokoto caliphate and the sultanate of Borno when the British came in 1900.

The Middle-Belt Forum is committed to the ethos of Justice, equity and fairness for all and the promotion of egalitarianism

Mission
To provide a formidable platform for the articulation of integral ideas, resources and manpower for the expression of freedom from oppression and subjugation of the peoples of the Middle-Belt as independent ethnic nationalities in defence of our people, our land and our heritage

Vision
To protect the peoples of the Middle-Belt from all manner of injustice, ill treatment, unfairness rooted in prejudices, stereotype and discrimination which impinges on the dignity and integrity of ethnic nationalities of the Middle-Belt region of Nigeria

IDI IBRAHIM WAZIRI

Vice President

Hon. Idi Ibrahim Waziri hails from Wase LGA of Plateau State. He is a graduate of International Relations from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He also holds M.SC in Peace and Conflict Resolution from National Open University of Nigeria. He is a lecturer in the department of History and International Relations Lokoja, Kogi State. He was a member of the Federal House of Representatives, former commissioner for Tourism and culture, Water Resources and Energy Plateau State. He is the Vice president of the Middle-Belt Forum

Ms. Debrah Moyeni Ogazuma

Director of Research and documentation

hails from Koton Karfe Kogi State. She is a graduate of English Language from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. She is an ace broadcast journalist and former commissioner for Commerce and Industries, and Health, in the old Kwara State. Debrah Ogazuma is married and blessed with children.

Ene Ede

Gender advisor

Ene Ede hails from Benue State Nigeria. She studied Business Education, Economics, journalism mental health and total well-being and other sundry mutually reinforcing areas of knowledge. A strong practitioner, strategist and promoter of principles of diversity ,inclusion and equitable governance and leadership. She is the Gender and welfare Adviser of the Middle Belt Forum.
